Born in suburban Illinois, Ms. Ravenscraft began her performance journey in Kindergarten at the tender age of 5 years old, singing "God Bless the USA" with the eighth graders at her elementary school.

The journey continued as Ms. Ravenscraft moved around the country. She performed the roles of Dorothy (Oz! The Musical), Katrina van Tassel (Legend of Sleepy Hollow), Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), Miranda (The Tempest), and Titania (A Midsummer Night's Dream).

​

Ms. Ravenscraft received her Bachelor's of Music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She studied vocal performance with baritone Timothy Noble. During her time at IU, Ravenscraft appeared in the opera choruses of Carmen, Florencia en el Amazonas, and Peter Grimes. She made her role debut as Consuelo in West Side Story and then went on to portray Gretel in Hansel and Gretel under the baton of Maestro Arthur Fagan and direction of Michael Shell.

in the 2020 season, Ms. Ravenscraft was selected for the 48th season of Des Moines Metro Opera's apprentice artist program. Prior to the pandemic, Ravenscraft was scheduled to sing in scenes from La Clamenza di Tito (Servilia), and Orphée (Eurydice) and to sing in the choruses of Sweeney Todd and Pique Dame. 

The 49th season of Des Moines metro opera commenced in person and ms. ravenscraft  sang in the original scene assignments. two weeks into the season, ms. ravenscraft was asked to take over the role norina in the act ii finale of Don Pasquale in the penultimate Apprentice Artist scenes program of the 2021 season.

In 2023, Ms. Ravenscraft returned to academia and is working towards her artist diploma at the university of illinois urbana-champaign. here, she studies with soprano yvonne redman and is a stotler fellow for the duration of her degree. She premiered the role of Legion Woman 1 in Ilya Demutsky's new opera Black Square under the direction of Nathan Gunn.

She spent the summer of 2024 in Petoskey, mi performing at the bayview summer music festival. She sang the roles of hodel (fiddler on the roof) and clorinda (la Cenerentola).

IN THE Fall of 2024 SEASON , mS. rAVENSCRAFT WILL PERFORM WITH THE lYRIC tHEATRE @iLLINOIS IN THEIR UNIQUE OUTDOOR CABARET "UNDER THE STARS" AND WILL PERFORM THE ROLE OF AUNT ELLER IN THE ICONIC MUSICAL "OKLAHOMA!"

 

She will compete in the Iowa district of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont competition in January, and travel to Costa Rica in February as a promising young artist with the Centro-cultural costaricense-norteamericano program on behalf of the us embassy.

In April, Ms. Ravescraft will give her final artist diploma recital and sing the role of la musica in Monteverdi's l'orfeo with Lyric Theatre @ Illinois. 

​

She will return to the BayView Music Festival for their 2025 summer season, singing in the chorus of Ragtime and the role of Micaëla in Carmen.​

​

In the fall, Ms. ravenscraft will move out west to Colorado where she will begin her residency with Opera Colorado for the 25/26 season. she will tour around the state singing Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Mabel in Pirates of Penzance. on the MainStage, she will sing the role of annina in La Traviata, cover study Violetta, and sing in the chorus of Madame Butterfly.
